Signet wasn't removed

Hi, I just need some clarification why I lost this round: At the last encounter I used my card's power to remove a modifier, from the card (as shown in screenshot). https://imgur.com/a/58J24Im
This should have transformed what was a tied encounter into an encounter which I win. However, BGA didn't remove the signet on from my opponent's card retroactively (despite being a losing encounter, not a tie) and therefore declared my opponent the winner (because he had 6 signets at the end). Is this a bug/mistake by BGA or am I missing something?

In my last game I won for such a bug. Sorry.
https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=773025778. In last move my opponent removed penality from magistra that won against my treasure but treasure conserved the signet

looks like tied encounters that get a signet through judge are not handled properly after later modification.

i replayed brontolo example where the relevant opposing card was double modified before the removal of modifiers (-5, +3, so it showed -2). maybe not all modifiers were really removed but only the last?

We had the same effect.
But in out observation it was two times with the yellow card number 2 which didn't work.
For the rest of the game it feels like everything worked fine except the effect of yellow 2.

I viewed the replay of Brontolo3's game. I would says that this is a bug.
