restriction based on timezone

hey
we've all had that : playing on a turn-based game, playing a turn, and then having to wait for players across the globe to wake up 10 hours later (on the other side of the planet) and play theirs, while it's night time here…

how about a new restriction option, to select which time zones are allowed to join in a game. it would certainly make turn-based games more thrilling!

cheers!

Time zone doesn't necessarily work, because that doesn't mean people are on the same schedule within a time zone. Some people can take turns at work, others can't, and not everyone works a typical schedule, most folks don't have the same schedule on the weekend (and with turn based you probably are going over weekends), some people have nothing better to do on Sunday, while others are with their families, etc.

I'm a prime exactly, which is probably why I "get this" so well. I don't work Monday-Friday, I don't work a normal "day job," I work very late hours and am a night person, and while I have 2-3 days that are somewhat alike, my schedule is simply not the same every day. So I would be unallowed to take time zones that might actually work for me, and have people in my own time zone getting ticked off, cause that might not fit with them, especially if they're taking turns at work.

And... I'm also a lot better about getting on here and getting turns in than a lot of the people I play with, without any restrictions like that being put on me. I have yet to go over my turn time and usually make it before it's halfway out, if not faster.

Not to mention that someone being in the same time zone does not mean they're very good about taking their turns, and still doesn't mean they can play the hours you can.
