Fast Paced Maxi Yahtzee: Too fast

A Question to the Gurus

The current Arena mode is Maxi Yahtzee fast paced.

I find that if I stack up a number of rolls so I have plenty of attempts to get a Yahtzee I will often have to abort my attempt in order to avoid being timed out, I might not have the fastest mouse finger but I am playing with close to zero thinking time.

Do others find the same thing? Is this by design to prevent my strategy? Is it considered fair game to kick someone as soon as they time out so they can not do the same strategy, to me kicking someone who has not gone completely AWOL seems a bit unfair but I am aware that if I play my natural game I am at risk of getting kicked? Would it be better to have a little longer for maxi games in the Arena?

It seem the dev should add more time for that case. You can look at the bugs for that game: https://boardgamearena.com/bugs?game=49 and add a suggestion.
And the dev look active, there is no bug/suggestion for that game atm.

You can select different speeds or turn based for arena.

If you want more time, then maybe this arena season isn't for you.

Actually, the table's game speed is not a part of Arena format. You can filter game speed options if needed.

How do I filter speeds? The last time I was online (months!) I could select the types of games available to me (slow, normal, no maxi or triple) but I don't see those options now and I keep ending up in games that are wrong for me (but I diligently persevere and even win a few but I'd like to slow it all down ;)
