Evil Spirit - Order of action on BGA.

Can someone please help me with order of action on BGA when it comes to placing a spirit and the evil spirit.
Situation: Evil Spirt in playing blocking a spot. Make a square of four. Select fish spirit or deer spirit, beetle or salamander. Does the evil spirit move now OR after I have placed a rainbow, card from my hand, card from the line up or from opponent. OR does it move after the action of tile.selection and placement?
This order changes how I play the game as I select a card from.my hand, the line up or opponents as I am scared I will loose my tile.
Does anyone know the order of play on BGA? Ive attempted however haven't had a successful time to try this theory.
