Hey,

so, one user changes the English translations of Sabs to words he thinks are better, but are not even part of the official rules (miner/prospector instead of digger, speculator instead of profiteer).

After many, many complaints from players I changed them back. Now he messaged me about it, I told him, why his changes weren't too good and told him a thread in here might be the best. But he didnt even wait for a reply: after sending me the mail he instantly changed some of the translations back to his own ones.

Btw, all this happened without him having played a single match in this game.



What can we do about that if he doesn't even want to discuss the topic? Just change it back again and again? Sounds like a punishment from the Greek underworld.

Please sent me a PM with the name of this player and some examples of the changes so that I can moderate appropriately.

Ummm. WHAT?!?

I saw the reverts when I went to do more translations. Instead of just continuing to do the same, I contacted you and stopped making translations myself.

All of this would have been avoided if you had contacted me in the beginning.

Sorry, I guess an answer to my mail would have resolved things then.

To me it looked like you wanted to continue doing what you did. And as you were changing already established translations which hundreds of players read every game without feeling the need to change anything I didn't think my mail without any answer from your side would have stopped you.
