Player timer is broken

I recently started playing this game and while it is a lot of fun there is a big issue that plagues half the games involving insane stalling: the timer keeps resetting so a 2 minute turn becomes a long 5 min, turning a one hour game into a 3 hour slog. And even if it's just one player in a 4 player game it still stalls and it is impossible to kick the player stalling the game
I played a lot of ark nova and even with so many actions people still manage with 2 min turns
Terra forming mars needs the timer fixed so games can flow smoothly

3 hours for a 4P game sounds normal to me. The timer resetting sounds like the usual way BGA operates in real time games -- the timer replenishes each turn. If you want a faster game, try using Preludes but not drafting.

I'm not 100% sure, but it seems to me that you can get time out of nothing by doing and canceling certain actions. I haven't seen anyone do this on purpose, just by accident.
Three hours to play 4p game is a bit much, it should take from two to two and a half hours. It takes me an hour on average to play a full 2p game .

A group of us sometimes play it turnbased-but-asin realtime wthout the pressure.A five-player game takes us roughly four hours.

It is definitely not a timer replenishment per turn, in fact most button presses replenish the timer which means for someone to do 2 things with multiple buttons for consequences it can balloon for more than 5minute for a single turn
There are way too many unnecessary buttons that really slow the game down:
- for example a card with draw power, if I activate it I shouldn't need to confirm again
- doing 2 actions then having to confirm rather than passing to the next player
- if I skip a 2nd action I should be able to skip ALL actions instead of pressing pass turn then confirm afterwards (and this pass turn is also cumbersome because it resets if the opponent does something in between)
- if all players have passed it makes zero sense that the last player does 2 actions > confirms > does 2 more actions > confirms. Just let him do all the actions
- the timer should never replenish per action, just make it 2 min turns without any replenishment

One of the posters above said, I think, he didn't like the 'confirm' you get when you are about to draw a card. I think some games, perhaps also this one, allow you to turn such confirmations off.
There are many of us who really like having these confirmations to avoid misclicks. Discarding Birds instead of Underground Detonations to Mars U due to misclicking was an experience I do not want to relive. Thanks BGA / unpaid developers who work here.

the purpose of confirming any action that draws a card is to avoid accidental clicks that cannot be undone.
Once a card is drawn, there is no undo.
Also, we recently added confirmation for discards because of endless complaints by people who were carelessly discarding a card they were actually intending to play.
Basically, anything that might be done accidentally, people want a way to cancel or undo it.
