It’s official, the full version of the hit game DEAD CELLS is now on BGA!

The Malaise has infected the island. Explore this sprawling island, starting with the Prisoners’ Quarters, and slash your way through the malaise-infected horde of enemies all the way up to the High Peak Castle to challenge the infamous Hand of the King... or die trying.

The rules are lightweight but with a strategic depth. Play as one of the four Beheaded and leap into this cooperative strategy game. Plan and execute your attacks with precision; navigate deadly dungeons filled with unique monsters; upgrade your character with powerful weapons and abilities. Each run takes you further as every death makes you stronger.

Explore. Kill. Die. Mutate. Repeat.

Whether you are a die-hard fan of Dead Cells or looking for something fresh, jump in the tutorial to get acquainted with the game before experiencing the essence of a rogue-lite game: https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=deadcells

A huge thanks to Antoine Bauza, Corentin Lebrat, Ludovic Maublanc and Théo Rivière, the game designers, as well as the crew from Scorpion Masqué for allowing us to have Dead Cells on our platform. And we bow to LeSteffen for the BGA’s adaptation.

This game is part of the WINTER OF GAMES 2025 calendar.
This was your Friday release,
And if on BGA what kills you makes you stronger, never forget to take care and play fair…

Love this game! Will currently ongoing "saved" campaigns, benefit from the fact that the full game is now released? Or do I need to start a fresh campaign in order for the full content to be reflected in my game?

My friend and I started a campaign in January, and we could access the new content released in April and June. So I assume it will be the same now. Really cool to see the Dungeon grow while exploring 😁

I love this game, however when multiple weapons to purchase are on the screen, you are unable to drag the screen to the left to view them all.

Also when you go into the "purchase new cards" bit at the end of each game, the same issue happens, you can't drag the screen to the left to view all the card stacks to select one.

Issue is on Android and iPhones.

Great game! Never played rogue-like games before, but I really enjoy it. Actually thinking to buy the board game, because not a lot of people playing the game (almost everybody plays solo ;D)

It takes the progression system of a metroidvania, and transforms it into a procedurally generated action roguelite. (If you know you know.)
