Hi,
Here is a situation:
https://ibb.co/KcRJmfZ7 (emnmonk's pov)
https://ibb.co/PsR0dTPq (my's pov)

Do you agree with the choice of tasks?
Do you agree with no comm turn 1?
What do you deduce from no comm?
If there is no comm, what do you do later on when no one have commed?

Tricks were (commander is bolded, lead is left):
g1976
p4g5p62
y4987
y65g2b2
g48b1s2
b9p9b83
p853s1
b65y13
b7p7s43
y2g3b4p1

Thanks :)

Task choice is agreeable in my opinion.

No comm at trick 1 is fine, just in case the other 2 players both need it. Both of you should comm your long suit at trick 2.

No comm here means nothing is blocking you, i.e. you can complete your task without any help from your teammates. This isn't the case for either of you: emnmonk needs 89 to drop before they can win in blue, and you need pink 9 to drop before you can win in pink.

I think what the other two players did makes sense. They just guessed wrong because they had no information to work with.

I think you should definitely have switched those tasks. Once emnonk has the lead to take their b6, they can continue to do equal blue and pink tricks for free easily.

And you have the high pinks so can easily take more pink than green.

But now, since you're likely to want to use pink to do your own task. That makes emnonks task even harder as well.
