Board Game Arena

It used to be that the usernames in the forums were hyperlinked to a player's profile. Now if you do that (in a Chrome browser) you first see an error message both in a banner and in the General Message chat that "The server reported an error." If you refresh the page, you get this message:

This page isn’t working
boardgamearena.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

I've noticed that the structure of the URL linking to profiles from the forum differs from the links from other sources like the search bar or game history.

From the forum: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/member ... e&u=746295
Same user (me) from the search bar or game history: https://boardgamearena.com/player?id=85477595

So it seems like whatever used to resolve u->id is not working anymore.

Is anyone else noticing this?

I won't until someone else confirms they're having the same problem. I'm not someone who just assumes my issues are universal (which leads to bug reports that are simply about some idiosyncrasy with one user's setup).

And it looks like it cropped up around the time I first noticed it. It just took until today for it to get irritating enough for me to post about.

I also waited 24 hours or so to see if it stuck around or got fixed. Then I got annoyed and posted my bug.

I tried again this morning on a non admin account and it worked fine. This should now be fixed.

I tried accessing nik's profile and had the same issue.

Logged out. Cleared cookies and cache. Logged back in.

Tried again. Same issue.

Except now I have the issue that any preferences I had across the internet that were stored in cookies are gone.

I can acces the profile trough the forum links, however it's slower and with a visual redirect. The back button brings me back to the forum but only on the second attempt.

Can't update or read the bug reports because of a custom CSS.

Using what browser?

Just tried on my phone (albeit also Chrome) with the same issue.

And on Edge (ugh!). Same issue.
