An indicator for which game a player is currently "in"?

When playing turn based games, although I can see whether a player is online, it would be nice to see if they are currently "in" the same game as me. Sometimes there are periods where more than on player is online and I might choose to wait for their next move if I knew that they were paying attention to this game. I realise that there will always be some ambiguity here (multiple tabs open, general connection issues, etc.) but I suspect a decent approximation could be made!

By extension, it might be nice to have a "current game" (or "current games" in the case of multiple tabs) link in a player's profile so that you could see which game(s) they are currently focussing on.

I don't know whether some might find this intrusive, but it doesn't seem to me to be much more intrusive than the online indicator.

You can see what games people are playing in real time if they are on your friends list. I think that’s less intrusive since you both agreed to be friends.

I don’t see a huge need for a turn based game to indicate whether others are playing in real time or not

I just message the player if I notice we’re trading moves as if we’re playing real time if they want to just play the game in real time
