Can you save progress using the Hot Seat function? I did a run, earned a few cells and spent them but if I start another game with the same Hot Seat name, we start over again at 0% progress. Is there a way to continue that campaign? Thanks!

No, it doesn't seem to work with hotseat. But you could join with a second BGA account in a private window.
