None of the devs ever respond or listening to requests

The forum is the place to discuss things with the community. If you want to address a suggestion to a developper, you have to fill in a suggestion report here:
https://boardgamearena.com/bugs Make sure to fill in a report either for a specific game or the BGA website in general, to reach the right people.

Oh, I just saw that your forum entries are game suggestions! The official place for that is the thread pinned on top of the suggestions forum
https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1040 which has now 220 pages and possibly some 10.000 games suggestions...

And among those 10.000 suggestions how many times 'Splitter' OR 'REFOREST' is wanted???
Any plans for 'village' ,'oh my goods' Or 'Quest for el dorado'?

I'm pretty sure game suggestions are mostly useless, and the dedicated thread is just a place for "venting" and a way to remove the chaff from the rest of the forum. (And no, posting on a separate thread will not make it more likely to happen.)
Bringing a new game to BGA requires a publisher giving permission and a developer wanting to spend some time on it. None of this will probably happen *because* people ask for it here. If you want publisher to give permission, ask the publisher. If you want a developer to work on a game, offer something (i.e. hire a developer). Otherwise, volunteer developers will work on the games they like, not on some random game suggested by a stranger.

This is precisely the function now. Maybe...and only maybe...way back in 2010 it actually served a real function.
What gets me is people requesting very well-known games years after their publication as if their existence is secret knowledge that only the poster can bestow upon us, despite the same game having been requested literally dozens of times before. Yes, as a matter or logic every game has to have someone who asks for it first. But in 2026 do you really think Quacks of Quedlinburg isn't on here because the 35th person hadn't yet asked for it, or maybe there's another reason?
