Do We Need Hold'em Here?

I do not want to trade precious boardgaming bandwidth for the opportunity to be crowned BGA Arena Hold'em Champion, although I am intrigued by the idea.
There are a thousand other sites offering hold'em, why does a boardgame site need to do it? BGA often experiences lag and connection issues. Those things are now part of the experience.

We do not need free hold'em to increase those things.
Please, get rid of it.

I posted this in the Poker forum too but realized this forum is more appropriate. Please forgive the cross post.

So any game that's available elsewhere should just be removed? Or is it only games you don't want to play here should be cut?

Can you also get rid of the hundreds of games I have no intent to play ever ?
...
Seriously, let people play what they want amongst what is available.

I could not agree with this more. If you don't want to play a particular game, don't play that game. It literally does not affect you in any way.

There is already a 50-post thread
here almost entirely devoted to this debate. While I think (for far different reasons) that this release should be returned to alpha, there's no reason to duplicate that discussion here.
