Board Game Arena

I'm so tired of the Arena only being the single tile and not the strategic variant. In the last month for gurus we even voted the same for both keeping the current format or changing to strategic variant, 3 votes for each. It should go to a tie breaker rather than default back to the previous format. This is boring.

I don't have enough points to play this game in arena mode. I made a similar post in the regular carcassonne forum as I do have enough points to play that game in arena mode. Although I mostly choose not to because I dislike the one tile setup.
Not surprised that gurus for this game are also choosing the one tile variant. I'm not a guru so I simply assumed that the one tile variant was more popular other players.

3 votes? Just 3 upvotes or a balance of Up - Down that = 3?

If it's just three votes, so 6 out of 100 gurus actually participating in the final voting stage this seems like it should be highlighted to BGA more widely as a broken process. 6% engagement is meaningless.

I believe how the voting works is all the gurus get to vote thumbs up(+1)/down(-1) for keeping the format or changing it to the proposed format. When I said 3 votes each, it was a positive 3 votes for each of those separate votes.

Currently for the next season implementing the strategic variant has 3 positive votes compared to -2 for keeping the same format, so if the votes don't change much we'll finally get this variant in Arena!
