There used to be a way to test scenarios by playing them just yourself. I wanted to test out some scenarios but can't remember how to do that. Anyone know if this is still possible?

You are Premium. You can set up a Hotseat game to practice any game. You can find the Hotseat option at the bottom of the list of friends after you click the button to invite specific people to the table (either from the single game lobby or when starting a game from the Play Now page in Manual mode).

I can't see the hotseat option at the bottom of the list of friends. Is there some special table configuration that makes that option available?

I was able to find it from the game page (lobby), not from the manual setup in play now.

Just invite Hotseat to the game. Does not have to be one of your friends.

How do you pick a scenario to play test??

If you are using the "From the front" scenario type and "Days of wonders database" scenario source options then after hotseat joins the game you'll be able to pick the scenario.
