Is the android app in the google play store legit?

There's a BGA app in the google play store that looks official but I don't see any mentions of it on this website and the first thing it does is telling me chrome is outdated (I don't even have chrome installed) and redirects me to some shady update service. Is this a trusted app?

I don't know if there is more than 1, but there is an official Android app and it's basically a Chrome wrapper.
Maybe it helps if you manually install the official latest Chrome version, then launch the BGA app. I wouldn't mess with any update service outside the app store.

Yeah, I thought it's a wrapper if it's legit. I was just cautious because the message said it's important to update for security reasons and I don't understand why the app isn't coming with the latest version then. And it's fishy to forward to some third party brower update service instead of just forwarding to the official chrome download page.
