Why replay bonus not available?

First card played, oak. Why no replay bonus for that? I can't find the explanation

Maybe matching tree symbol not used? It's not clear to me

You didn't give details or link to the game, so it's hard to give a definitive answer, but the oak tree card has the oak tree "suit" (symbol), and a bonus (_not_ an effect) of take another turn. Its cost is two, which means you need to pay two cards to play an oak. According to the rules, if **both** of those cards that you use to pay, have the oak suit symbol on them, then the bonus is triggered after you play the oak. If either one of the cards you used to pay to play the oak does not have the oak suit symbol, the bonus is not triggered. This is explained in the rules.
