Developers do better

Developer fix.
For two person, the wilds are never dealt even. NEVER. I either have all or none. Four straight hands with zero or enough to make 3 books while my opponent is dry. So frustrating to play hundreds of games and see this repeatedly. The developers can (and should) do better.

I agree with what zeb7 says. It is feast or famine in this situation and defies the odds.

What do you mean by "do better"? They should rig the game so it's no longer random? That wouldn't be allowed and would frankly be against the spirit of card games or games in general. I mean you don't allow players to draw a wild for every 5 other cards they've drawn in real life, do you?

The game works here much as it does when playing in person: the deck is shuffled at the start of the round, and then cards are dealt. The shuffler does not know who gets what cards in the deck, so there is nothing to "do better".
This game is inherently ruled by the deck. If you want to have more even chances, the analysis I and friends have done shows that you have to reduce the number of wild cards in the deck. This is a game option the table creator can control.
