First of all, I'm reporting this here because I have no other way to expose this mischievement.

I was playing a point 5 long game against *,- I had already played once against him and had won in a game of long format -, when in a situation where I had a lot of pieces in an end game I was thinking in which piece to play and the sequence after. Without noticing my time has passed and suddenly he reported me on time and won the game, without a warning or anything. He was just expecting my time to end and report me.

I already has achieved a considerable advantage in the game. But this way he managed to win a game he was risking to lose.

I can't report him because the fault on time was mine, bit I want to expose him.

This was the game: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=794574497

*Moderation Edit: please do not use the Forums to call out specific tables or players by name, this is what the Moderation Reports are for. The Forums should remain a general discussion.

You're only exposing yourself. You made a mistake (ran out of time) and lost.

It's frustrating, but it's nothing to report since it's within the rules. There are no grounds for reporting bad sportsmanship that doesn't rise to the level of violating the terms of service.

Just as in real life, some players shoot angles, call the clock, lawyer the rules, win at all costs, etc.—others are fun to play with. It isn't satisfying, but the recourse is to use the "avoid this player" feature and move on to the next game.
