Solely looking at the stats, the most glaring thing that sticks out to me is Energy tokens collected. The other outliers to me are: Fame pulled is slightly low, Cards bought (all categories) is low, Buzz tokens placed and triggered low. Most of these outliers, perhaps all of them, can be traced back to the low energy. Energy optimization and utilization, in my opinion, is one of the most important tactical advantages one can get in this game.

To be fair, your sample isn't really large enough to make super accurate generalizations at this point, but that's what stands out to me. I would generally chalk up the skew of low energy to a high sample of Mek games (lowest energy output monster), but then I would also expect to see your damage output and win by elimination be higher than it is if the sample was that heavily skewed.

Also, I don't think that ELO swing is that drastic, especially if you get a string of unlucky games in a row. I've swung 100+ ELO in both directions in a day before. It's a lot easier to go down than up, especially once you get high enough where the losses are 5-10x the amount of ELO/game.

Variance is a real thing. Even with perfect play, this game is no where near 100% winnable every time. Bad cards, bad rolls, etc happen. As long as your win % is going up, or at least not dropping, you're on the right track.

Happy smashing! :D

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I found it interesting that most of my stats are low, yet I won more than 50 percent.

195, five days later
make that 184 five days later.
Make that 180
Make that 177

This makes it seem that the dice just swing back and forth between being good and bad.

Energy and cards are the answer. You are not emphasizing energy enough. Cards are what turn this game from a straight up luck game to a strategic tug of war.

Down to 185 after re reaching 300
it doesn't really seem like luck, seems like random crap that the dice roll algorithm alternates between stupidly good rolls and stupidly bad rolls

It'd be cool to see how many wins are from skill or knowledge of the game and how many are just from good rolls, or bad rolls for the loser.

Try reading up on the game instead of whining in the forums?

Back to ranked 80th, maybe I should stop playing while ahead
It seems like it just swings back and forth between good rolls and bad
