Is slipstream allowed in a corner?
It's the only reason I can think of why it's not allowing it here.
but nothing in the rules indicate it.

We are using advanced ruleset .. I've seen slipstream used by others with same game settings.

- both cards in 4th gear
- ended move directly behind lead car - no braking

Is there something else I"m missing?

You can slipstream in corners but have to strictly follow the arrows. Looks like straight ahead is the only option in the circled spot.
