Board Game Arena

You certainly noticed this new navigation bar at the top of Board Game Arena.

From 2009 and the first version of Board Game Arena, we tried to constantly adapt the website to make it more beautiful, more modern and more compliant with new technical requirements. This would way be more easy to let the website as it is, but the service design would quickly looks very outdated.

Speaking of outdated, we created a short presentation with the evolution of the design of this service from the very first "Tournoi en ligne" website to the current Board Game Arena. We hope that you'll find with this presentation that this service is evolving in the right direction, because we won't stop improving it

Because a good news never comes alone, we also published a new classic game: Checkers. There is of course a lot of website where you can play Checkers online, but now there is also Board Game Arena

New design with navigation bar at the top looks very nice, but recent changes in the "Games in Progress" page is very disfunctional and annoying.

Before, it was possible to click on the player's name, and player's profile would opened.
Also, it was possible to open the specific game in the the new tab/window, which was very useful if you have many games in progress.
Could you please turn it back?

Why chat on main site is on the right side???....nooo:)

It seems a little strange to me 'til now 'cause my eyes continue to look at the left part of the screen , but in a few days I suppose I'll appreciate it, it seems more simple to view it all.
And nice solution also for having back the click on player's profile without entering in a game !

What type of checkers is when players must take pieces if they can do it?

In International and brazileans you can move another piece before take a piece.

@Oso: you can select among 4 variants when starting a table (see wikipedia for rules for each variants: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draughts)
Default variant is International checkers.

great to see draughts here, what about the ultimate Chess! ???

I am wondering why the See Table button has been gone. One can click anywhere on the rectangle and see the game, but it's not obvious you're just looking at the table. Just one more thing that will make it difficult for newbs to figure out this site.
