Deathmatch Status To Be Officially Recognised

A deathmatch status is when you get a 3 in a diagonal, and then you are able to build on it to create multiple ‘connect 4’ paths. Basically, you’re cooked if you get deathmatched. If the game could tell you that, that would be cool…

You're going to have to give examples of what you even mean.

Fine ceaseless, here you go:

X = you, O = opponent, . = empty
Row 6: . . . . . . .
Row 5: . . . . . . .
Row 4: . . . X O . .
Row 3: . . X O O . .
Row 2: . X O O O . .
Row 1: . O O O O . .
1 2 3 4 5 6 7

Can you see that ‘X’ has 2 ways to ‘connect 4’, so X WILL win for sure, whatever ‘O’ does.

Hasn't O already won, several times? :D

In Connect 4, you win when you connect 4 piece in a row. That means they have to be right next to each other. If we look at row 1, we see that O has 4 pieces right next to each other. That means they win. In column 5, O also has 4 pieces stacked on top of each other. This also means O wins. If you look for it, you can find another way that there are 4 piece in a row for O to win. Can you find it? (Hint, we have already found 1 vertical one and a horizontal one, try looking for a diagonal line.)

In Connect 4, if you see there are 3 pieces in a row, you should try blocking the fourth spot if it becomes available. That way, they won't have a 4 in a row.

It is very hard to reply to posts before they are made, so I had to wait for you to make that post before I could reply to it.

Wow, serious trolling going on in this thread. Rather uncalled for, if actually intentional, I‘d say.

Either way, why should the game tell you that? Hardly deserved, if you‘re not capable of seeing a granted win by yourself, no?

I'd say minor trolling at best. Could be accidental too, I like to give some benefit of the doubt to other users, but the profile and posts lean me to guess otherwise.

Then ask ChatGPT why it's not implemented.
