It might be me but extra penalty on time violation is stupid.

You run out of time, so you lose. Why is there extra penalty?
Made even worse when you can't concede before 50%.
Shits happen in life. I totally don't understand the extra penalty on overtime.

Because some people don't care if they lose, so that's not a deterrent at all for them.

Because the winner(s) by expulsion don't get the full elo deserved by the victory, and with 3+ players the game is ruined, and you wasted the other players' time.

Which penalty ? Karma loss ? Unless you are a regular offender it's a non issue. And if you are, it's to protect people against you.

I mean for Arena games you're right. Losing the game is penalty enough.

Glah. While I am fine with the time penalty, being kicked after playing 2 eagles on the last turn of the game stings 172, highest score ever, and 'lost' the game. Pretty sure I was within a few sec of finishing on time too....

Even with two eagles, you still had 3m and 20s before you get kicked out. You telling me you really needed more than a minute per action?
