I use the filter to keep the high power birds out but they still show up. Is this supposed to be that way?
Thank you

Obviously not or what would be the point of the filters? How are you setting the filters? Did you try to do it this way: https://imgur.com/a/u0NjTp2

If so, if that switch is in the right position, it means you told the server you *prefer* no powerful bird cards, but you are ok with them if it is taking a while to find a game. That switch must be in the left position if you want the filter to be strict.

If this isn't how you tried to do it, post a screenshot of your settings. There are at least three different ways to set filters on BGA. We need to know which one you tried in order to help.

Looking at your last game, it looks like you have “remove powerful birds” but not “remove powerful birds + wood duck.”

I always found this confusing. Does it mean "remove powerful birds and add the wood duck", or "remove the power birds and (also remove) the wood duck"?

When using the "play now" screen to set up a game, this setting has a written explanation under it.
It removes all 5 birds.

It remove the four most obviously OP birds, and also removes the wood duck.

Am I the only one who thought, "Instead of removing the Wood Duck, why not just forbid playing it in the forest" ??

I think this could have caused misunderstandings among people. Imagine you keep a duck to put it in the forest, take food for it, but it turns out that it cannot be played there.

The cards inself indicates that it can be placed in the forest.

True. I assumed if this were done, the appearance of the card would be modified.
