Why wasn't there an official announcement for Injawara when it was released here 5 days ago? It's not even in the LATEST GAMES section...

Hi,

Good question.

In fact we had to make this game available on BGA for reasons liked to the Injawara project itself, but there are still some fixes to make on the adaptation. An announcement will be made as soon as it has been done :)

Cheers,

Thank you for the quick answer! Should I wait until the bugs are fixed before I try it? Are they major bugs?

And is it a game that exists in real life or is it exclusive to BGA?

Hi,

I do not recommend to test the game until the official announce has been made.

Last thing: the rankings (and trophies) are going to be disabled for this game, so there is no use to play dozen of games to win Prestige points like some players are doing at now...

Despite of your thought, for me it's a good way to improve my english.

I just tried the game (thanks to federstm! :D ) and I really appreciate it, also if it can be seen as an unusual boardgame as the others here on BGA.

I have a couple of questions after reading this topic:

1) Did I missed the official announce or is it still pending?
2) About the question of the ranking and prestige points, what if the points will be reduced to the fiftieth (or the thirtiert, or something like this) part? So a solid victory, that now pays something like 400 points, will let gain something like 8 ELO points (if divided by 50) or 13 ELO points (if divided by 30) , and a close victory that actually may give something about 60 ELO points will give 1.2 ELO points (if divided by 50) or 2 ELO points (if divided by 30)
