What's your biggest comeback?

I just came back from way behind to win a game, and was obviously very lucky to do so.
I took an early lead in the three-player arena game, but concentrated a bit too much on building my engine and stopped getting victory points in the process.
That ended up almost costing me, as I ended up being in a distant third at 38-31-12 as we entered the endgame.
I thought it was over for me at that point, knowing that it would take a stroke of pure luck in order for things to change.
Lo and behold, that's exactly what happened.
On what I thought would be the last set of turns, second place caught up to first, and my engine finally started paying off, and the score ended up changing quickly to 42-42-28.
I was still in third, but there was now an extra turn for each of us due to the tie.
Another hit of my engine, and by the time it got to my turn, I had 40 points. My dice roll got me 3 more, and the previous hits to my engine gave me enough to buy the sector 12 card for another 14, and I took the lead with 57 points.
However, I still had an opponent's last turn to make it through.
Luckily, I was able to score an extra victory point, and that was just enough to seal the deal, and I ended up winning 58-57-54.
See for yourself here.
What is your biggest comeback in the game? Is it even bigger than mine (26 points down)? Share it here!

Player A triggered the 40 points so, last round, but player B also hit 40, so they tied and we play another round.

this happened 3 times, so we were playing our 4th extra round.

I finished the "You Win" card.

i had 20 points or so.

I was NOT down 26 points but one of biggest deficits I've personally overcome was Table #623781282, a 4-way game where I used UES ZUBOV 2056-G (Sector 09 "Spend 1 cube to Exchange this card with any Sector Blue card") to go from a score of 06 vs 19-19-14 at roughly Move #53 or so, to a final score of 63 vs 31-23-30 by Move #73.
ZUBOV was aided VERY ably by UES COLLINS (Place 1 cube anywhere) AND the 'arrows' on Sectors 7,8 + 9. Kind of a perfect storm, really.

An even more significant comeback was during play at Table #620483667, a 3-player game where I used similar process to go from 00vs16-17 on Move #28 to a final score of 54vs35-29 by Move #76, eventually gaining 09 rockets every time a five was rolled.

NOTE: Games (such as OP) where every single score exceeds 50 are, by definition, pretty crazy; well played and good on yah.

It'd be interesting to know if there is a way to search all the Space Base games played on BGA to see if there are common threads in such victories but my guess is the roll of chance and the sheer number of games played might simply reveal the fact longshot odds DO pay off from time to time... although it'd also be interesting to study the strategies (if any) of consistently high-ranked players in Arena tournaments.

I was down in last 39-37-12 and the game rolled 11 three consecutive times for me to win. Game picked me instead of them. The game does it a lot, not me, but it picks a winner.

It’s not that the game decides who should win, ours hope chance works! If people wore down a series of ‘random’ heads and tails, they don’t put in enough repetition.
