Hello Fellow BGA users,

Does anybody know if there are any semi-cooperative games utilizing the traitor mechanic on BGA? I couldn't find this filter option in the games section of the website. Popular games that feature this mechanic include Nemesis (amazing game by the way), Shadows Over Camelot, Dead of Winter, Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game, etc.

Edit: I just realized there are some, but they are not really great games. Would anybody happen to know of any that are in the top 500 ratings list on BGG?

BGG has a category of games you can find on BGA, and you can filter this list by mechanic… of course, as with any user-driven site, BGG’s classification of mechanics is not completely consistent. The games you mention *mostly* utilize either “Traitor Game” or “Hidden Roles” mechanics (according to BGG). So filtering the BGA category by these two mechanics I can say… no, there is no top-500 BGG game with this mechanic on this site. But there aren’t that many top-500 games with these mechanics in general.

What BGA does have that may be what you are looking for: Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow, Coup, Saboteur, Room 25, Tortuga 1667… quite a few others, but those five seem pretty highly rated.

But here, look at the list yourself and play with it, filter, sort, poke and prod. I hope you find something that suits you.

I like Mantis Falls a lot.
It has a 7.1 rating on BGG, which I think is pretty good.

Battlestar Galactica would be a nice addition to this site, since that's rated 123rd on BGG.
