Coming back to BGA Studio after 4 years

Hiya all 👋

I'd like to adapt another game, and am looking for the best example of a project to clone, or docs to read that leverages all the latest enhancements the framework has implemented.
I was last on BGA Studio over 4 years ago, and I'm sure things have progressed tech-wise.
Is there a recommended project that uses all latest best practices?

What is the current best way to create a new project?

Any docs, or examples would help a lot.
I'm sure I can slowly get back into the groove, but having a good "What good looks like" reference would make things a lot easier ❤️

Re-reading the Reversi tutorial would be a good start, and it is maintained to match all framework updates.
Also make sure your IDE setup is good, as you now have _ide_helper.php file that will help you a lot :)

From the parspective of a total noob I would recoomend the hearts tutorial over the reversi tutortial (about 50% of the way through reversi I go wildly lost) and hearts seems a lot easier to follow (now about 75% of the way through hearts and going strong),

and I, and others, hit a gotcha/blocker in Hearts - https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47834
