maybe a stupid question but how can I remove a game from my favorites?

Just click the heart icon on the right of the game box.

Edit: on the left ofc.

The heart appears to the left of each game on the “Play Now” screen, and in the upper right of the screen on each game’s main page. It may appear in other places but those are the two that come to mind.
