Board Game Arena

I don't know if this would even be used, but with such an international community represented here at BGA, some sort of scheduling tools, built right into this platform, might be kind of cool. I would envision something where you send a request out to friends to play a selected game live at a future date/time and arrange it there. They could reply with a Yes or No so you can anticipate having a group together for a specific game on a specific date at a specific time. This would be cool for games where you generally enjoy and want to play with the same people (The Crew), OR those longer games (Great Western Trail) where it's hard to find enough players on the spot and trust they'll put in the time. You could even coordinate folks who want to all try a new game, but don't want to feel intimidated by playing with a bunch of people who have mastered the game. Many times it's fun to learn the game together as you all start on the same level and can go a little slower and help each other with the rules. You could even put in time days and times you're available for a live game. Or for the really nice folks who love sharing their love of a game, offer to teach a game and take new folks to it so hopefully they'll love it like you and you're creating new opponents. Just a thought that would make it easier to play games like The Crew and coordinate across time zones. Thanks for the consideration.
