Hey guys, I've been looking for some digital Carcassonne-like games. There is Dorfromantik, which is popular (with also a physical board game version), and I've recently found this one on steam called Canvas Infernum https://store.steampowered.com/app/3497 ... _Infernum/

This mechanism is called tile placement and you can filter the BGA library for it: https://boardgamearena.com/gamelist?mechanismTag=206 However, of these games some are more, some are less like Carcassonne or Dorfromantik.

The closest ones to Carcassonne are probably „Carcassonne Hunters and Gatherers“ and Tipperary.
Other similar games are: 24/7, Chromino, Copenhagen, Elongo, Framework, Ghost Galore, Habitats, Junk Drawer, Kingdomino, Loco Momo, Lucky numbers, Metro, My City, My Shelfie, Nimalia, Nova Luna, Tacta, Trellis.

If you want to reduce chance and have full information, look for Barenpark and Patchwork.

You want to play cooperative (as in Dorfromantik)? Then try Art Thief, Bandido, Dedale, Paint the Roses, Yokai.

And since you also seem to be interested in more complex games, I highly recommend The Castles of Burgundy.

Cacao feels very similar to me.

Taluva is another option. Like Carc, all the play is on a shared central board.

Marram might be the most similar of the 1100-1200 or so games on here that I've played. It's a wonderful game, IMO.
