Potential bots in 6 Nimmt! Always go into negative time, then play at the last second. Make the game excruciatingly long

Since early 2026 I've had several instances where players delayed the game as much as possible. They would wait until they got into negative time, and someone tries to expel them. At 18 seconds, just before they are about to be expelled, they suddenly play. With the next card, they do the same thing. If they have to start a row, then after someone has already tried to expel them, they do the same thing again. They wait until they're in negative time, when someone tries to expel, at 18 seconds they suddenly choose a row.

The only exception is that sometimes, after they have been almost expelled several times, they choose a card immediately. [Presumably due to the dynamic clock?]
But then they start delaying again, going into negative time, almost getting expelled, playing at the 18th second... and on... and on... and on... ad nauseam.

The pattern is always the same, from different players, so I assume they're bots. I also cannot imagine a human sitting there and doing this - it's incredibly tedious. Plus I don't think a human would manage to always suddenly play at the 18th second. It all seems very programmed.

They also never respond to any messages in the chat, and when someone suggests to voluntarily abandon the game, they do not answer.

Obviously this is super frustrating for all other players. The game takes forever, and it removes all fun from the game. The first time this happened, we finished the game and I think it took about 50 minutes. In most other games, someone sacrificed themselves by quitting or purposely getting expelled.

Has anyone else experienced this? It've seen it happen 4-5 times now.

I really wish there was an option to properly report this, and I also think that players shouldn't be able to endlessly go into negative time. I think you should be able to go into negative time e.g. 5 or 10 times per game, and then you get automatically expelled.

Examples of games where this has happened:

Suspected bot player: infallible-panda235

Suspected bot player: Charming-goat351

Suspected bot player: Cool-tiger331

Suspected bot player: iphone22

There were a couple more but I didn't note those down. If you look at their profiles, you'll see that they have all just played 1 or 2 games of 6 Nimmt! and then disappeared.

I agree with this report and share that the situation has not improved.
The same phenomenon occurred again in the following game:

I've had this happen once in a game as well!
It is incredibly frustrating.

I reported a person and got a strike against me for claiming the person was a bot. Reported account was brand-new, first game and had this behavior

happened to me several times, be especially carefull with new players and don't ever play with players with an "adjective-animal"-name > "happy goldfish" etc.
I suggested earlier that the decision to abort a game should never be able to be blocked by one player as it is now. This would solve the problem but BGA are clearly asleep on the job

The situation remains unchanged and has not improved at all. The harassment has recurred in subsequent matches.

Wait so people see my username and think im a bot? I thought it was fun when the place suggested it. I have been meaning to get a funny penguin to put as the avatar to match

I have also experienced this, it took 20 minutes to play the first 10 cards. I tried to suggesg leaving the game, but others voted no.

I self sacrificed because it was taking forever and the lowest score was still 45 points
