Board Game Arena

Some games take a while to find enough players, so it helps to open a few at a time while you wait. And the effort is ALL wasted by these players who hop around in and out of tables aborting each game when someone with low ELO joins. We really need a way to encourage these players to adjust the ELO restriction in their matchmaking settings.

What way do you suggest? This is the suggestions forum after all.

Maybe they could mention it in the tool tips they show to orient new members. I don't know, my suggestion is to implement something to stop these fools from ruining everybody's lobby and wasting everybody's time hopping in and out aborting everybody's games just because they don't know how to restrict to certain ELO ranges. But it doesn't matter to me how it gets implemented, or what method they use to do so.

They should not abort your games until 1 actually successfully starts.

This is so frustrating! I just want to echo the sentiment. All these people are basically doing is exactly that! Hopping around aborting everybody's games!
