Limit is a competitive strategy game where you take on the role of a nation’s leader, steering your country through history, from the early days of the Industrial Revolution to a near future.
 
Everyone starts with the same resources and opportunities. But what you do next is up to you. Using Politics cards, you’ll make decisions that shape your nation’s population, productivity, and standing on the world stage.
 
The game throws plenty of challenges your way, environmental disasters, financial meltdowns, and even military crises. Will you aim for sustainability and work with others, or push for domination? Can you stick to your vision, or will you need to adapt as global events unfold? It’s all in your hands.
 
Limit is played over 7 rounds, called "generations," during which you’ll guide your nation through three key phases. A political phase, where you pass policies that will shape your country’s future. A social phase where you look after your population. And an international phase, in which you interact with other players through diplomacy… or competition.
 
If you reach all 7 generations, the player with the most points wins. But don’t get too comfortable as the game can end early if players cause 4 global crises.

I got a private preview of this in 2024!

When I try to start a game it says it is still in Alpha release.

Is there a flag that needs to be switched for it to be actually released?

Anyone able to get a game? Usually after a release announcement there is a lot of activity, but it doesn't seem to be the case here.

Wow. I bought it at last year's Spiel and thought it would be a total niche game. Excited to see it here.

I will happily sell you the game. It's very cool and interesting, but it's mostly an educational toy, not a real game.
