Harmonies is finally getting an expansion after 2 years since its debut. This expansion adds 10 new animal cards and has a picture of the giant panda on the cover, so I’m assuming that will be one of them. Who else is excited for additional layouts that lets us place animals out?

That’s all I know, nothing else about it has been announced. So who knows when it comes out.

I’ve already seen 2 cards and they are both very different from each other. One is similar to the original, but has something on it completely different. And the other one is completely different from everything, it appears this expansion adds new mechanisms, so that must be why there’s only 10. I’m waiting to see if they will share more info. So I’m only guessing it’s a new mechanism.

I am scared that an expansion will ruin the game. I will probably just keep playing the OG version without animal spirits.

What a sceptical world view. Let's see what they got.

It comes from Libellud which is my favorite publisher of all time. They made some of my absolute favorites like Lords of Xidit and Seasons! They have some experience in making expansions.

With the Pulse expansion for Harmonies, your landscape becomes more dynamic. It introduces additional animal cards with a variety of requirements, which will test your spatial organization.
The familiar mechanics are still present, but the decisions become much more demanding.

At the heart of the expansion are new three-color patterns, requiring more planning and anticipation in placement. Players who take on these new challenges will have additional scoring opportunities — but they need to think even more carefully about how to integrate each element into their landscape.

The beautifully illustrated Animal cards fit seamlessly into the base game while providing a new tactical boost.

Sad news libellud messaged me on Facebook. Harmonies pulse is not their expansion. They said it’s fake news. Although I wasn’t there only one fooled. Board game geek has harmonies pulse on their website. Now i definitely have mixed feelings about it. I want an expansion so bad! But i definitely don’t want to support someone who doesn’t have libelluds blessing to sell it. Now id like only want it, if they gave it away for free, like a fan made expansion.
