How do you start the train?

I have a route through all my destinations and both exit points but all I can do is place more track. The tutorial didn't explain what was supposed to happen now.

At the top of the screen, there will be a new button that says something like "Begin Inaugural Run". You don't have to start; you could lay more tiles to shorten the route.

If that button doesn't appear then you don't have a finished route.

I am confused then. What constitutes a finished route? I have a track from my number at the top, through both locations and it has an exit through my number at the bottom.

Are you Line 1? The upper exit point is not connected, because the train would have to switch its direction to reach it

I am also facing the same problem, I completed my route with connecting all goals, but still not able to start the train

Because your train can't cross the tile with the two curves at Station A. Trains can't make u-turns on rails or go backwards.

It's not always obvious that you can also continue to lay more tiles, I think this should be explained or given an option as a button for the user. The user experience is currently quite confusing.
