Hi.
Friendly game shouldn't be on an infinite time delay. Put 3months if you want. But what if a player cease to play ?

You have no other option.

See my current exple on Carcassonne with falco.
Started Dec 23rd
Last play from falco Feb 4th

We're March 11th. He isn't replying and no mouvement. It's his only current game. I assume he stopped playing on BGA.

I suppose I'll have no other choice but to quit as you forbid us to signal a player slow playing. Thus in this case it's not slow: it's still...

Shall I keep that game in my log forever ?

I'll never start again a friendly game...

You can quit with no penalty if it's a friendly game, leaving the table.

However even if you don't, friendly games are still deleted if there are no moves within a certain amount of time. I forget exactly, but I think it's in the 1-3 month range.

I don't see any problems. If you started the game with a stranger, nothing prevents you from exiting the game. The only downside is that for some reason, the results of friendly games are included in the statistics, in particular, they affect your winning streak, but this is a completely different question.

You quit. End of the problem.

Also, if no one plays moves after 40 days, I believe the table is closed anyway. So they're not infinite, even if you don't quit. And as quitting has no penalty, there's no issue with doing so.

To the OP:

Everything said by the people who responded is correct.

You are posting about a non-problem.

Thanks all. To be honest I didn't know it. And it wasn't written in friendly match rules.
