Watergate: Paranoia, Polyester, and Politics

Imagine a world of polyester suits, rotary phones, and enough paranoia to fill a stadium. That’s Watergate in a nutshell. This two-player masterpiece isn’t just a dry history lesson, it is a high-octane duel where one player takes on the Nixon Administration desperately trying to survive, while the other plays The Washington Post out for blood.

The game perfectly captures that "Charlie Kelly" conspiracy vibe from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, as the journalist literally pins evidence to a corkboard to trap the President. It’s a classic tug-of-war where every play feels like a "mic drop" or a desperate cover-up. Whether you’re blocking informants or following the money, the tension is constant.

It is fast, surprisingly cutthroat, and arguably the most fun you can have with a political scandal. By the time you've connected the Informant to the Oval Office, you’ll realize that Nixon serves as a truly compelling and formidable adversary in a board game.

So, channel your inner Woodward or Bernstein (or Nixon, if you’re feeling like it), and join a table of fast-paced and expertly crafted game:

We would like to thank Matthias Cramer, the game designer, as well as the publisher, Frosted Games, for letting us add their game to the platform.  We are also grateful for the work of hershGinso and TagGerr who adapted the game for BGA.

This was your Wednesday release.
Connect the dots or cover your tracks, but whatever you do take care and play fair…

I love this game! This is about as fun as history can get. I would much rather play this than a game of chess any day. Thank you to BGA for having it on here!
