Hi,
What do you have planned for Iranian players who are out of time ?
We don't know what to do

Most of them are offline since 20 days, without network probably

what to do - as far as..... removing players from the game due to running out of time? Are the usual methods not working? Are they "friendly" games? Turn based? Unless you provide some more info, all I can really say is Dorood

Considering the post references "we don't know what to do" and "without network probably", it's pretty clear the point of view is from the Iranian side. The issue being known external events causing technical issues. We're not talking an individual player having unverifiable issues.

So what you're saying is you think they are asking BGA staff for help with Iranian internet problems?

I'm not sure what we are supposed to get from your "contribution" here... yes in the post titled "Iranian players" I think you're probably right and it's Iranian players the OP is talking about. Beyond that, the rest of your comment is speculation. How did you determine the problem is technical issues caused by known external events? Do you have friends in Iran who told you their internet is down?

The easiest thing to do if you're in Iran is to get skipped and take the elo/karma penalty. You probably have bigger things to worry about. Karma penalties expire in 90 days and you can regain the lost elo.

Unless it's a friendly game in which case there is no penalty, right? And if it's turn based and his opponents are 20 days late, I don't think he'll get a penalty there either... It's almost like we need more info from the OP

To be clear, I was hoping that the BGA staff would make the decision to close the games with Iranians players offline for several weeks, without any player having a penalty.

Well what do ya know, we were all wrong lol OP is not Iranian either, and it was an individual player with unverifiable issues after all
