Goa 3rd Edition

GOA is now in public alpha !

Quined Gamed has chosen to revive a modern classic game (2004) for their 30th "Master print" game. This third edition is very similar to the second edition from 2012 but with a total new graphics for theming the game + some variants like an official Solo mode - which would be a good way for you to test the game.

The theme is the main role of the region of Goa (India) in the international commerce during the 16th century.

The game is divided into rounds of 3 steps where the first 2 steps is a multiplayer bidding competition for tiles to acquire with money, then comes the action step where each player has a limited number of actions for improving their resources.

While I am glad it is here, 99% of my games are async, and with all the bidding Goa doesn't sound like a good anync game. I may get the physical game

The bidding is once-around, so the bidding will play fine.

I'm giving a 3 player game a try, but I still think games will take a while to finish.
I'll be happy if I am proven wrong

Hello,
Thanks for testing, but I still don't understand the " will take a while to finish" because it is the same for all heavier games in BGA where there is a lot of turns and actions. Here there is only 8 rounds made of 1 turn to place a bid + 1 turn to bid or pass + 3 turns to play 1 action = 5*8 = 40 turns /player

Amazing implementation thus far, very nice work Jonathan.

Since it moved out of Alpha so quickly, what's the best way to give feedback that aren't bugs? I play a lot on mobile / async and it would be helpful to know what # of bidder you are so you dont have to scroll down in the logs.

Like if its 4 players and two people have bid before you in the minimum and maximum bid area it could say Bid 3/4 or something?
