Spinner not truly randomized?

I'm not sure this is a bug so I am posting here, but my husband and I have played quite a few games and we are continually noticing that the spinner lands in the same exact spot more often than not. Has anyone else noticed this?

I am always very afraid for these kind of observations. Without numbers you cannot proof anything and it is just a feeling. However after a few games I had a similar feeling. I think only the developer can say if he used the 'common' function for randomization, or that he created something himself which might contain an error.

Hello :D

I've played more than a couple of game and I got the same feeling sometimes but I think it's correct.
1. I used normal bga randomization function
2. There are only 5 spots, so 20% chance to have the same slot as previously. Which means 2 times during a game (12 turns) is below than the average, 3 is pretty normal. 4 times is possible. Then you will notice only when you play twice the same spot, all other random result will be ignored in your mind... That's where come from your feeling.
3. Play the game in real, and I'm sure you will have the same feeling :D

Thanks Firgon, that confirms my feeling. I have written down the numbers for 5 games and it gave me this distribution:
1-1-2-3-5
0-1-2-4-5
0-1-2-3-6
1-2-2-3-4
1-1-2-4-4

Of course way to less to draw conclusions, but does not seem to be abnormal. So for me this question is closed (it already was after the answer of Firgon ;) )
