Play your roles, people

Just died as a renegade to an outlaw who used 4 bangs on me...
Outlaw seems to have forgotten their role and was playing the role of the vice in this game. Remember that when you're the outlaw, your primary target is to eliminate the SHERIFF, not vice or renegades. It doesn't matter if the renegade shoots you first, as an outlaw your objective is to kill the sheriff. Too many players of this game just don't understand the goals of their role, please read that before you play the game!!!

Well, we (developers) get 1-2 bugs on average each month saying "Beer didn't give me a life point". Should I say it is 100% the case of a final duel with the Sheriff?..
I personally know people who play different games on BGA without reading rules first...

Well every players goal is to win the game. So outlaw going after the sheriff allies makes sense to give them better odds of outnumbering the sheriff and their allies.

Outlaws have to kill sheriff.
Rene has to kill everyone before killing sheriff.
Dep has to help sheriff.
That's all.
You can do it anyway you want.
Outlaws don't have to help renegade.
Renegade dont' have to help outlaws.
Renegade don't have to help deputy.
Deputy don't have to help Renegade.
You just have to achieve your goal.

Just played with a dude that downvoted the sheriff because the outlaw didn't like that the sheriff killed him before the Rene

If a renegade or vice picks a character that has a big impact, like Jesse, Slab or Willy, it is often smart to take out vice/renegade. Outlaw has to kill sheriff, but they are allowed to use any strategy that's likely to succeed in pursuit of that goal. If they kill renegade first to succeed, fair game.
