Board Game Arena

My list of alpha games has dramatically dropped overnight from like 200 to 5. The only ones left in the CAtergory for me are

Captain Flip
Twilight Imperium
Amerigo
Faraway
Something else

Anyone else?

Nope, I can see 207 alpha games right now.

I think you get automatically taken out of groups you haven't been active in for a while.

I haven't counted the entries, but I definitely see a lot more than 5.

You don't have to have registered to any of these games as a reviewer in order to see all entries (otherwise this list wouldn't make much sense). So even if you are taken out of a group for inactivity (I don't know if this happens), why wouldn't you see them any more in this list?

Fair enough.
It's only that this seems quite strange. Maybe that's the "list" they are referring to: a list of games they've started a review.
Maybe they've taken themselves out of being a reviewer and now for some reason only see games in the list that you were once part of the group.
Who knows. You can only scratch at possible reasons that it might be down to.
But I agree, my original statement is probably more irrelevant than relevant, and it's just that this happened to me recently so was fresh in my mind.

For the record, I see 200+ games too.

If I then go to this page - https://boardgamearena.com/reviewer

I can press "I am volunteering" again and then all the Alpha games appear again. Give it 12 hours and it reverts back

Any ideas?

The first link shows 212 entries for me. It looks like you are somehow loosing your reviewer status, if that makes sense?
