Communication ruling question

Hello! I'm aware that you can't normally communicate about cards in your hand, but what if your teammate(s) knows that you have it because you returned it from the collective hand using the suit effect of diamonds? For example, if I play an 8 of hearts and then return it back to my hand on my next turn with a 3 of diamonds, my teammate saw me put it back and now they know I have the 8. Is that public information at that point?
