Board Game Arena

I can’t quite figure out how arena ranking-scoring works. Sometimes when I lose, I lose -30 points but when I win I only gain +7. It doesn’t seem to be associated with the game points, so how is it being calculated?

It's based on your opponent's level. If their ELO is quite close to yours, you gain/lose only a few points. If they're way more or less experienced (assuming they've amassed more/less ELO by way of their experience ) you gain/lose more accordingly.

Except it's not ELO, it's EAS (Elite Arena Score). ELO is completely irrelevant for Arena.
