I understand there's people who like to play this variant but it's less flexible and less challenging that professional one

Why do we keep flip flopping every season... just stick with the professional variant

I agree. This variant isn't really compétitive.

Pro variant is less luck based.

where is the challenge when you have 6 cards under 20 in hand ?

I agree. I didn't realize it changed until my first game and totally changes the gameplay. Much prefer the Pro variant as it offers more strategy. I guess we'll have to make sure to vote for the next season.

I just don't play Arena when it's not Pro variant

I hate normal mode. It is ALL about the hand you receive. Is much more luck than strategy

It's great not to have Professional variant - I'm loving taking part in Arena this season. I can't stand playing Professional variant so this is a welcome change for me.

I stopped playing in arena because of the professional variant. Both require different kind of skills, so it being always professional variant only benefits those players who like professional variant. The non professional variant is far more popular on non-arena side, so I think it's time to also play non professional in arena.

Personally I find professional variant more chaotic and luck based, since card can end up in many places. In normal game you can predict where the card goes, and you can plan before hand when to spend the cards. Different strategic thinking.
