Suspected Match-Fixing in EasyPeasy Championship

I believe this season’s EasyPeasy champion may have achieved 1st place through match-fixing.

I was holding the #1 position until the final day of the season. However, I was overtaken by the current champion, and while trying to catch up, my rank dropped further. At the time, I accepted the result as a difference in skill.

However, thanks to a report from another player, the following suspicious points were identified:

1. The account that appears to have assisted the champion was created just 4 days ago and has only one friend—the champion.
2. Before entering the arena, this account defeated the champion, but after entering, it lost all 7 matches to them.

The player has acknowledged that “reaching 2nd place was their own skill, but achieving 1st place was helped by a friend.”

As board gamers, aren’t we expected to follow fair rules in every game?

I believe this situation disregards the time and effort of all players who genuinely enjoy EasyPeasy.

Regardless of any consequences I may face, I believed it was necessary to bring this issue to light so that such incidents do not happen again.

Almost a month now and current "Champion" faced no consequences from cheating.
Great message sent from @BGA moderators.

Has this been reported beyond the creation of this thread? There are no updates from the original poster.
