Just me? Can't start a friendly mode game

I'm going to report a bug if anyone can confirm it isn't just me.
I haven't had this issue, but I've seen quite a few people talking about the opposite problem in the general community forum - not just for this game:

Maybe there's some site wide issues with the friendly mode options for only some users. Good luck, hope it's fixed for you soon
