Board Game Arena

Over the last couple weeks, I've noticed many of my games have defaulted to friendly mode even though I (at least previously) have never allowed these in my settings. When I go back into a particular game to change the settings and make sure I NEVER play friendly mode, the system won't allow me to 'always be ok with normal mode' but 'never be ok with friendly mode' (or whatever the wording is). The end result is that I'm still starting and/or being invited to friendly mode games.

Is there a way around this and ONLY participate in normal mode games?

This seems to be happening site-wide. Which specific games have you encountered this issue with?

Same here since 3 days with Ark Nova and Wingspan, with this message when i want to change mode : Cannot set all values to Never for preference 201 (reference: M6 20/04 06:39:59)
How can we have som help ? I did not find the right way in the support to post this message error.

Hello - same here for all my games - I can't play in normal mode only in friendly mode
